Program structure

General description of the program

IPFM program offers an internationally-oriented managerial education for experienced junior and senior managers. Besides the thorough theoretical knowledge of business economics heavy emphasis is laid on practical education. An experienced teaching body comes from different countries and classes are taught in English and German.

Strengths

  • Close links with partner companies make possible to offer a tailor-made curriculum to meet the requirements of individual senior officials.
  • The interconnection of individual companies' production and their trade programs linked with the scientific background is another advantage to count on for an IPFM student.
  • The highly qualified IPFMs professorial team of international reputation with broad based experience and teaching credits from prestigious domestic or foreign universities alongside with lecturers recruited from top managers´ posts enhance the objective of the program.

Timetable

  • In general, regular study requires 18 months of part-time study to complete the program with a possibility to extend it.
  • Twelfe teaching modules are divided up into three days period of classes conducted on Friday, Saturday and Sunday approximately once per four weeks (with an exception of Pfeiffer University classes taught by American lecturers. These are held in other time periods).
  • Students are assigned study literature and case studies on and in between the modules.
  • Students have to submit master theses that have to be graded favourably by supervising professors.

Requirements

  • Completed university studies
  • Three-year successful job performance
  • Recommendation from an employer
  • Foreign language proficiency in English and German
  • Succesfull pass of the entry examination

  • Special conditions for students from IPFM member companies. Further information can be optained by the IPFM office.
  • Students from DTIHK member companies get a discount and pay 9.000 EUR (+20% VAT) for the duration of the MBA program.
  • External students pay 9.500 EUR (+20% VAT) for the duration of the MBA program.
  • It is possible to split the tuition payment into several installments.
