Frequently asked questions of study applicants and answers to these questions
IPFM is the only school accredited by FIBAA – Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation. FIBAA accredits courses in developed European countries (Austria, Germany, Switzerland) and thus the IPFM study is recognized internationally.
IPFM has received the best possible grade. FIBAA is a member of the European Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education ENQA, the European Consortium for Accreditation ECA and along with CAMBAS is a member of European Quality Link EQUAL. IPFM MBA study is equal to high quality international MBA programs. We will be pleased to send you the accreditation details by email.
Beside the international accreditation, IPFM is a member of CAMBAS - Czech Association of MBA Schools (www.cambas.cz). Both English and German IPFM MBA programs have been accredited by CAMBAS, meeting the rigorous quality standards and quality requirements. CAMBAS requires its members to meet international standards that make their MBA programs equal to those offered abroad.
There is an English and a German MBA program. By mutual agreement, or, in case of missing your regular classes because of professional duties in your chosen language, you can study in both languages.
The program consists of 12 compulsory courses from the area of General Management, and three elective courses in the area of General, Industrial or Financial Management + Workshop + Master Thesis (3 months). It includes lectures of experts with practical experience. Our Alumni Club caters for social events as well as visits to companies.
Study requires approximately 18 with a possibility to extend it to 24 months or to study in both languages.
Yes, by mutual agreement. The program is part-time, designed for people who work and study at the same time and sometimes their professional duties prevent them from attending their courses at due time. We try to accommodate their needs offering the possibility to extend their years of study.
The courses take place in our Prague headquarters in Prague downtown, at Václavské náměstí 40. The program is modular with individual workshops dedicated to a single topic (marketing, financial accounting, international taxation, etc.). The classes are conducted on Friday, Saturday an Sunday approximately once, in some months, twice per four weeks.
Who are the lecturers at IPFM?
The faculty is comprised of lecturers from European and US universities with excellent professional reputation and teaching experience. Some classes are taught by top-level lecturers from the Prague University of Economics.
Guest speakers are top level managers of our corporate partners and other reputable experts with practical experience. Our program is practice-oriented, extending the theoretical knowledge acquired at university studies.
The tuition is 9.500 EUR (+VAT) and is “all-inclusive”, i.e. covering all cost of study including all material, independently on the total duration of your study. It can be paid in installments.
There are special regulations for students of IPFM member companies and also for students from DTOHK member companiese.
The tuition payment can be shared by yourself and your employer.
You can be exempt from some of the requirements for study in special cases. Please contact us via email, attach your c.v., references and motivation letter. We assess applications on an individual basis in short term. You will be informed within a week.
