Our students

Students at IPFM are of highly diverse gender and professional background with international professional experience in a wide variety of branches and fields. This diversity creates a stimulating learning environment where a variety of problem-solving approaches can be observed. Ing. Petr Novotný, MBA, IPFM graduate 2004

Mr. Novotný completed the technical University at Zvolen in the Slovak Republic in 1986. When entering the IPFM program, he was Head of the Planninng Department at Bosch in the Czech Republic with 16 years of work experience. Nevertheless, the MBA program was challenging for him. Since his educational background was technical, Mr. Novotný expected the program to give him more knowledge about economics and a greater picture of the business world. "The subjects in general were very tough but really useful and also fun", he said. Mr. Novotný is using his IPFM MBA to shift from Bosch, Czech Republic to Bosch, Turkey, where he will work as the Head of Logistics Department in the near future.

In addition to the theory expertly lectured by a multinational teachers' body of diverse backgrounds, interesting lectures containing real life experiences topped the curriculum and were delivered by high-ranking guests from various transnational companies.

In my opinion, the MBA study is a fantastic opportunity to acquire know-how in the field of management education. Moreover, you will team up with your co-students - managers of different companies and branches, exchange your ideas, opinions and experience and often take this partnership from the study room into your professional life.

Dipl. - Ing. Miroslav Kroupa, IPFM graduate 2005

Mr. Kroupa graduated Maritime University in Rostock/Warnemünde in Germany in 1992. He joined the IPFM MBA program with the ambition to complement and improve his knowledge in economics and marketing.

At that time, he was Head of Production Cost Optimalization Department at Skoda Auto and had 10 years of work experience. He speaks English, Spanish and German. The most challenging part of the program for him was the time shedule and the research-paper in English. His expectations were exceeded during the distance course Organizational Behavior- by means of the Internet. „It was a really perfect and useful experience. Additionally the structure of the course was superb.“ Mr. Kroupa´s career has become more international afer graduating from IPFM. He goes more often on business trips to all of Europe and speaks more foreign languages, sometimes more frequently than Czech.
