IPFM is a business school established in 1998 predominantly by Czech subsidiaries of several multinational corporations with the conviction that further education of employees is a strategic task for any company that enters international competitive environment with a desire to succeed. The decision to establish IPFM came as a natural response to deficiencies of the Czech graduates who could have hardly addressed and tackled challenges of the transition period which Czech Republic underwent during the last decade of the 20st century. Foundation of the institute was initiated by three corporate partners: Skoda Auto, a.s., IBM Česká republika, s.r.o., SAP ČR, s.r.o.. Since then, other national and multinational companies joined the group of our corporate partners: VOLKSWAGEN Financial Services AG (1999), ROBERT BOSCH s.r.o. (2000), SIEMENS, s.r.o. (2001), LBBW (2003), BPV Braun Haškovcová (2005), Import VOLKSWAGEN Group, s.r.o. - Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, Volkswagen utility cars (2005), Conrad Electronic (2006), Czech – German chamber of commerce - DTIHK(2007).

Our goal is to provide qualified professionals and executives with the latest scientific knowledge and analytical skills to help them to cope successfully in an increasingly changing environment. For this, IPFM offers students who are at the same time working in demanding positions a cutting-edge career-integrated MBA (Master of Business Administration) program that promotes a forward style of thinking along with modern management concepts and effective methods – all designed in cooperation with its partners from scientific and industrial communities. The program allows one to continue working full-time while studying. All MBA programs of IPFM are accredited both nationally by CAMBAS (since 2005) – Czech Association of MBA Schools and internationally by FIBAA (since 2005) – Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation. Their quality seals ensure that our outstanding programs correspond with rigorous quality criteria and the European MBA – guidelines. IPFM currently runs a part-time MBA program in English and a parallel MBA program in German was opened in 2007.
